How to secure your Wi-Fi hotspot from neighbors freeloaders

What you will need:

Go to any browser, enter the address of your access point and the control panel point, enter the username and password.

Then go into the Security tab, set Encryption to WPA pre-shared key, WPA Unicast Cipher Suite set WPA2 , then enter the Pre-shared Key (at least 8 characters) and press Apply.

For full protection you can enable filtering based on MAC addresses, go to the tab MAC Filtering, put glocko to Enable Wireless Access Control, and after adding the MAC address click Aplly.

After all this, you need to restart your Wi-Fi hotspot for the changes to take effect.

After all this, go to “Wireless & networks”, then click “Add...” and in the appeared window enter the settings of your point, after that check all that 2 times and click “OK”.
