The nature of occurrence of conjunctivitis may be different, so the ophthalmologist should apply mandatory (!!!). but if for some reason it is at this point in time is impossible, then start treatment immediately.

penicillin

Buy in the drugstore penicillin. Usually it is sold in powder form in a small bottle.

Open the bottle and pour the powder boiled water to the top of the bottle. Shake well the bottle and the solution for rinsing eyes ready! Apply the solution on a cotton pad and wipe all areas of the eye, including eyelashes. Don't forget before the procedure it is good to wash your hands. For each eye, use a different cotton pads, otherwise the risk of transferring the infection to healthy eyes.

If you have a sore one eye, then wipe the solution should still both eyes. Otherwise, the infection can appear on a healthy eye.

Wipe eyes with a solution as often as possible. This tool is very effective, and very quickly gives the result.

You can also wash them with infusion of chamomile (sold at pharmacies), or strong tea. But on my own experience I can say that most penicillin is better.
